Joint Monitoring Committee meeting and workshop

The Joint Monitoring Committee of the IPA CBC Programme Kosovo - North Macedonia 2021 - 2027 organized the first meeting of the new IPA III programming period in Brezovica, Kosovo.

The JMC is a programme body consisted of representatives of institutions such as ministries, civil society organizations and other stakeholders from Kosovo and North Macedonia who is rresponsible for identifying the thematic priorities, specific objectives, target beneficiaries and specific focus of each call for proposals; provide an advisory opinion on the list of operations selected through calls for proposals; review the progress made in relation to achieving the specific objectives, expected results and targets per thematic priority as set out in the cross-border cooperation programme; examine and approve the communication and visibility plan for the cross-border cooperation programme; examine and approve the annual and final reports on implementation and examine and approve the annual work plan of the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS)

The JMC members approved the Annual Implementation Report 2023, Annual Working Plan and Communication Plan for 2024 and the Concept Note for the First Call for Proposals under the new IPA III programme 2021-2027.

The meeting was also accompanied by a workshop delivered by the Joint Technical Secretariat of the programme on topics such as: IPA III legal framework, Financial Agreements, programme portfolio and regional monitoring system.
