Joint Monitoring Committee meeting and workshop   The Joint Monitoring Committee of the IPA CBC Programme Kosovo - North Macedonia 2021 - 2027 organized the first meeting of the new IPA III programming period in Brezovica, Kosovo.   The JMC is a programme body consisted of representatives of institutions such as ministries, civil society organizations and other stakeholders from Kosovo and North Macedonia who is rresponsible for identifying the thematic priorities, specific objectives, target beneficiaries and specific focus of each call for proposals; provide an advisory opinion on the list of operations selected through calls for proposals; review the progress made in relation to achieving the specific objectives, expected results and targets per thematic priority as set out in the cross-border cooperation programme; examine and approve the communication and visibility plan for the cross-border cooperation programme; examine and approve the annual and final reports on implementation and examine and approve the annual work plan of the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS)   The JMC members approved the Annual Implementation Report 2023, Annual Working Plan and Communication Plan for 2024 ...

On the 20-21 November 2023 in Prishtina, Kosovo and 04 December 2023 in Skopje, North Macedonia, the Ministry of Local Government Adminsitration of Kosovo in partnership with the Minsitry of Local Self-government of North Macedonia, EU Office in Kosovo and with the support of the Joint Technical Secretariat organized the Round tables with municipalities of the cross border region with the goal to promote the new IPA III 2021-2027 programme cycle. During the round table, the following topics were presented: An overview of the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Kosovo - North Macedonia and its thematic priorities. The context of cross-border cooperation and its relevance to the upcoming call for proposals, which will encompass the financial allocations for the years  2021; Lesson learned from IPA II and way forward in IPA III;   The Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) program for Kosovo - North Macedonia is financially supported by the European Union (EU) Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance - IPA. This program's implementation spans from 2021 to 2027, with the European Union Office in Kosovo acting as the Contracting Authority.

On the 8th and 9th of February 2023, the Joint Monitoring Committee of the IPA CBC Programme Kosovo - North Macedonia organized the regular 11th meeting, which was followed by a capacity building for the members of the JMC and the staff of the Operating Structures. As per Agenda, the Meeting was officially opened by the Deputy Minister for Local Self-government, the Chair of the JMC Mr. Zoran Dimitrovski. Mr. Alban Krasniqi co-chair of the JMC, Mrs. Feride Zeka – task manager at the EU Office in Kosovo and Mr. Elvis Ali – CBC Coordinator at Delegation of EU in Skopje also had welcome remarks and wished successful meeting and training. The JTS staff presented the Annual Implementation Report 2022 and its annexes.
