6th Bilateral Meeting of CBC Management Structures Held in Prishtina

On 28 April 2026, the 6th Bilateral Meeting of the Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) Management Structures under the IPA III Programme Kosovo – North Macedonia 2021–2027 was successfully held in Prishtina, Kosovo. The meeting brought together representatives of the programme structures to review progress and plan upcoming activities aimed at strengthening cross-border cooperation between the two countries.

A key focus of the meeting was the preparation for the upcoming 2nd Call for Proposals. Participants discussed the development of the Concept Note, reviewed the proposed thematic priorities, and assessed the financial status of the programme, including funds already committed under the 1st Call and those available for the next call.

In addition, discussions addressed planned activities to support potential applicants. These include the organization of Project Cycle Management (PCM) workshops and targeted meetings with beneficiaries to ensure high-quality project proposals and effective participation in the upcoming call.

The meeting also included initial planning for the Grant Award Ceremony, where participants reviewed the draft agenda and timeline, as well as communication elements such as the preparation of a promotional video.

Further agenda points covered the coordination of upcoming ministerial visits to project sites in both Kosovo and North Macedonia, reinforcing institutional support and visibility of funded actions. Participants also discussed the development of communication tools, including video tutorials for applicants, promotional videos, and project brochures to enhance outreach and transparency.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of additional recommendations and reaffirmed the commitment of all stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the programme and to maximize its impact on local communities across the cross-border region.

The CBC Programme Kosovo – North Macedonia continues to play a vital role in fostering cooperation, promoting sustainable development, and strengthening ties between the two neighbouring countries.
