The 7th Bilateral Meeting of the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Kosovo–North Macedonia 2021–2027 was held in Skopje, bringing together representatives of the Ministry of Local Government Administration of Kosovo and Ministry of Local Self-Government of North Macedonia involved in the management and implementation of the Programme.

The meeting focused on the preparation of the new Technical Assistance Grant Contract (TAGC) for 2026–2029, including the proposed activities related to programme management, capacity building and communication and visibility. Participants reviewed the initial draft of activities and discussed priorities and the next steps in the preparation process.

Another important topic was the implementation progress of projects under the First Call for Proposals, with particular attention to key challenges, potential risks and upcoming monitoring activities.

The agenda also covered the organisation of European Cooperation Day 2026 in Letnicë, Kosovo and the development of an online tutorial on lessons learned, aimed at sharing practical experiences and supporting current and future programme beneficiaries.

The bilateral meeting served as an important platform for continued coordination between the Managing Structures and other stakeholders, supporting the effective implementation of the Programme and strengthening cross-border cooperation between Kosovo and North Macedonia.
