Training strengthens capacity of CBC-Funded projects in communication, visibility and monitoring

The IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Kosovo–North Macedonia 2021–2027 organised a two-day training for beneficiaries and project partners on 5–6 August 2026 in Skopje.

The first day focused on Communication and Visibility of CBC-Funded Projects, covering EU visibility and communication requirements, the correct use of the EU emblem and funding statement, visibility requirements for infrastructure and equipment, as well as communication through social media, project websites and public events. Participants also reviewed examples of visibility materials and worked on identifying potential compliance gaps.

The second day focused on the Online Monitoring Database, providing participants with practical guidance on accessing and navigating the system, entering indicator data, fulfilling reporting obligations, and uploading supporting documentation. Through hands-on exercises, participants practiced entering project data and addressed common challenges with the support of the trainers.

The training combined presentations, practical exercises and open discussions, enabling beneficiaries and partners to strengthen their capacity for effective communication, visibility, monitoring and reporting, while ensuring compliance with applicable EU requirements.

The IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Kosovo–North Macedonia 2021–2027 continues to support beneficiaries throughout project implementation by providing guidance, capacity building and technical assistance aimed at ensuring the successful delivery and visibility of cross-border cooperation projects.
