Skopje, North Macedonia | 30–31 March 2026
A two-day training on Final Reporting within IPA CBC Grant Contracts (IPA II – 5th Call for Proposals) was successfully held in Skopje, bringing together grant beneficiaries from Kosovo and North Macedonia.
The training aimed to strengthen the capacities of beneficiaries in preparing high-quality final reports, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and facilitating the successful closure of projects.
Over the course of two days, participants engaged in a series of interactive sessions covering both financial and narrative reporting. Key topics included financial reporting under the General Conditions, preparation of the itemized list of expenditures, and guidance on completing final financial reports, including practical exercises and real examples. Participants also explored expenditure verification processes, audit requirements, and lessons learned from interim reporting.
The second day focused on narrative reporting, providing detailed guidance on report structure, templates, indicators, and annexes. Participants worked on practical examples, received instructions on best practices (Do’s and Don’ts), and were introduced to the use of the Regional Monitoring Database for reporting purposes. Discussions also addressed project indicators and reporting on the logical framework.
The training was delivered through a combination of presentations, plenary discussions, Q&A sessions, and hands-on exercises, allowing participants to clarify challenges and exchange experiences.
This activity represents an important step in supporting grant beneficiaries to ensure accurate, compliant, and results-oriented reporting, ultimately contributing to the successful implementation and closure of IPA CBC projects.
